Additionally, the 45-acre garden is home to collections of hundreds of native and exotic plant species, including native orchids, tropical fruits, palms, medicinal and other flora.
La Casona is located on 5 acres, overlooking the Macal River, and less than 5 minutes walking distance from both duPlooy’s and the Belize Botanic Gardens. This spacious 6 bedroom / 4 bath house can accommodate up to 16 people, with plenty of space to work, socialize and just chill. The house is an ideal place to hold classes and with so much variety, so close at hand, the opportunities for field studies are endless.
