Day 1
AIRPORT/ San Ignacio Resort Hotel

Land transfer from Belize City to the San Ignacio Resort Hotel in Cayo District with an optional stop at the Belize Zoo.

Day 2
Horseback Riding & Belize River Canoeing (Includes picnic lunch)

Day 3
San Ignacio Resort Hotel / TIKAL

An early morning departure takes you to Tikal in Guatemala, the most famous Mayan site in Central America. Tikal is located in the lowlands of the Peten region in Guatemala and 1.5 hours by road from Belize's western border. Tikal is the only place in the world which has been declared both a Natural & Cultural Heritage site for humanity.

Day 4
TIKAL / San Ignacio Resort Hotel

Breakfast - On the return from Tikal we stop off near the border town of Benque Viejo, in Belize, where kayaks will be waiting for you as you have the opportunity to enjoy kayaking or tubing down the picturesque Mopan River. Includes pack lunch.

Day 5
San Ignacio Resort Hotel / MOUNTAIN PINE RIDGE

Full-Day tour to Mountain Pine Ridge - Stops include Rio Frio Cave,
Rio On Pools and Big Rock Falls - Pack Lunch.

Day 6
Transfer to the Marine terminal and water-taxi to Caye Caulker
or Ambergris Caye for 3 nights or to Placencia by road via the Hummingbird Highway, the most scenic road in Belize, with a stopover at the Inland Blue Hole for a refreshing swim.

DAY 6 OVERNIGHT OPTIONS -

Days 7 & 8

Relax and enjoy the Caribbean. Snorkeling, SCUBA diving, and other trip options can be arranged either before or after your arrival, at additional cost. Including: Whale Shark diving during April to June, the Jaguar Reserve & Monkey River for visitors to Placencia and mainland excursions to Lamanai and Altun Ha archeological sites & the Baboon Sanctuary for those staying on Ambergris Caye & Caye Caulker.

Day 9

Depart via Air to Belize International Airport (BZE).

Important: A Belize Departure Tax of US $ 37.50 per person is not included in any of our package prices. Most airlines now include this cost in the price of a ticket. If they do not, you will need to pay the Belize Departure Tax directly to the airport authorities at Philip S. Goldson International Airport, on the date of your departure.
